No. The core Build Your Battlefield system is designed to remain modular, so the walls and connectors do not need to be permanently glued together.

If you prefer to create permanent buildings or custom terrain pieces, the resin can of course be glued and modified.

Yes. All Build Your Battlefield themes are designed around the same modular system, so walls and terrain elements from different themes can be used together.

You can keep a battlefield entirely within one theme or mix several to create a more varied environment.

Absolutely. The system is designed to grow over time.

You can add another Sector, introduce a different theme or expand your existing collection with additional walls, signature terrain and decorative elements. New additions give you more building possibilities without replacing the terrain you already own.

Build Your Battlefield is designed primarily for modern 28–32mm tabletop miniatures.

Our standard wall elements measure approximately 50.8mm wide and 76.2mm high (2 × 3 inches), giving them proportions that work well alongside commonly used tabletop miniatures while remaining practical for gaming.

Build Your Battlefield is an independent terrain system and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any other miniature or tabletop game manufacturer.

Our terrain is made from polyurethane casting resin using silicone moulds created from our original masters.

The material captures fine surface detail while producing solid terrain pieces suitable for regular tabletop use. Our terrain is designed, mastered, moulded and cast in-house in the Netherlands.

Most sets are available either unpainted or painted & battle-ready.

Choosing unpainted terrain gives you a blank canvas to create your own battlefield, while the painted option arrives finished and ready to put on the table.

Our painted terrain is finished by hand in-house using techniques such as airbrushing, shading, drybrushing and picked-out details.

The aim is a cohesive, attractive tabletop finish rather than display-level commission painting. Because every set is painted by hand, small variations between sets are completely normal.

It can. Painted & battle-ready sets may take a little longer to dispatch because each set is finished by hand.

We would rather take the time to do it properly than rush your battlefield out the door.

We recommend washing unpainted resin pieces with warm water and a little dish soap before priming. Allow everything to dry completely before applying primer.

After that, normal miniature and hobby acrylic paints, washes, drybrushing and airbrushing techniques can all be used.

Yes. Polyurethane resin can be sanded, drilled, cut and glued, making it suitable for conversions and custom terrain projects.

As with any hobby material, use appropriate tools and safety precautions when sanding or cutting resin.

Build Your Battlefield terrain is cast by hand in small batches, so very minor mould lines or casting marks can occasionally occur.

Every piece is inspected and cleaned before packing, but small variations are a normal part of hand-cast resin production and do not affect the functionality of the terrain.

Orders usually dispatch within 5 business days or sooner.

Painted & battle-ready orders can occasionally take a little longer because they need to be painted by hand before shipping.
